Psycho Bunny Sizing: Do the Polos Run Small? Classic vs Relaxed

Psycho Bunny sizing, in short: the pieces we carry come in two fits, classic and relaxed, sized Small to XX-Large (some to XXX-Large). Take your usual size in either. Classic is a standard cut; relaxed is roomier through the chest and body, not longer.

Do Psycho Bunny polos run small?

In our experience, no. The Psycho Bunny polos and tees in our store fit true to size in the classic cut, and a touch generous in the relaxed cut. The product pages do not publish a "runs small" or "runs large" note, so treat this as the view from our counter, not a brand guarantee.

A Medium in Bugatchi is usually a Medium here too. If you are between sizes in either fit, take the smaller one: the classic has give from the cotton, and the relaxed cut already gives you room.

Psycho Bunny classic fit vs relaxed fit: which should you choose?

Choose classic if you want a polo or tee that sits close without being tight. Choose relaxed if you want air through the body, or you carry weight through the midsection and prefer a shirt that does not cling. By fit name as listed on the product pages:

• Classic: the Psycho Bunny Classic Crew Neck Tee in White ($75 CAD). Straight through the body. The tee most men buy two of.
• Relaxed: the Holden Relaxed Fit Knit Shirt in Evening Blue ($178 CAD), the Jace Relaxed Fit Knit Polo in Pristine ($165 CAD), and the Gabin Relaxed Fit Tee in Gray Blue ($110 CAD). Wider through the chest and body with a squarer shoulder line.
• Pique polos: the Rex Performance Pique Polo in Evening Blue ($128 CAD) carries no fit name on the page. We fit it like the classic tee: your usual size.

We have no slim-fit Psycho Bunny piece in stock right now, so we cannot say how one runs. For a slim build, the classic fit in your usual size is the safer buy.

What is Psycho Bunny made of, and does it hold up?

The tees are 100% Pima cotton, and the Rex pique polo is 59% pima cotton, 34% polyester and 7% spandex, per the product pages. Pima is a long-staple cotton, which is why the tees feel smooth and keep their shape through washing better than a basic cotton tee.

The knit shirts are different. The Holden is 100% cotton knit and the Jace is pure cotton: sweater-style knits with a collar, not pique, so they drape softer. The Gabin tee and the Rex polo are made in Peru per their pages; for the rest we would check the label for you.

Care: wash cold, hang to dry. The embroidery and the spandex do not love a hot dryer.

Who is Psycho Bunny for, and who should skip it?

Psycho Bunny suits a man who wants a polo or tee that looks put together on a patio or a golf course, and who does not mind a logo. The bunny is the point. If you want a plain premium tee, Robert Barakett is the better buy: same Pima cotton idea, no logo, lower price.

Honest trade-off: the knit shirts at $165 to $178 are a bigger commitment. If you have never owned a cotton knit polo, start with the Rex at $128.

Common questions

Should I size up in Psycho Bunny?

No. Take your usual size. Relaxed fits already give you room, and the classic fit has a little give from the Pima cotton. Between sizes, go down rather than up.

Is Psycho Bunny true to size for a bigger guy?

Yes, in our experience. The relaxed fit is the better choice for a broad chest or fuller midsection because it does not pull across the front. The Holden and Jace are listed to XXX-Large; check the page for stock.

Do Psycho Bunny tees shrink?

Very little when washed cold and hung to dry. A hot dryer can tighten any cotton tee a touch.

Is the Holden a polo or a shirt?

A short-sleeve knit shirt in a relaxed fit, 100% cotton knit. It wears more like a fine sweater than a pique polo, so it dresses up easily with chinos.

Can I return a Psycho Bunny polo if the size is wrong?
